Event Outline:
This three hour event, hosted at Seisen International School, will consist of a 2 part program. Kicking things off, there will be a 90 minute panel discussion with local experts highlighting various aspects of the problem of sexual violence, such as the potential mental health impacts of being subjected to these crimes and the challenges of pursuing a case through the criminal justice system. This discussion will be followed by a Q&A session with the panellists. (Panellists TBC).

The panel will be followed with a 90 minute interactive self defence exercise where female black belt expert Aikido practitioners will demonstrate and teach specially developed techniques, based on Aikido principles. If you plan to participate in the Aikido exercise, please be aware that you will need to practice barefoot.

Ticket Conditions & Transfer:
Per KIF Japan’s policies, currently only female ticket holders are able to participate in the Aikido exercise. Please only purchase tickets for this part of the event if you identify as female.

Following purchase, if you are no longer able to attend the event, you can transfer your ticket(s) to another party(ies). Please remember that if your tickets include the dojo exercise, you can only viably transfer your ticket(s) to other female attendees.

Following completed purchase, we are unable to process any refunds. If you are no longer able to attend and do not wish to/cannot transfer your ticket, please let us know and we will gift it to someone who would otherwise be unable to participate.
