How can you help a child with ADHD?

In this workshop, participants will learn how Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is defined, indicators of ADHD, treatment options, cognitive/behavioral skills that children can learn, and how the environment can provide support for children. This seminar will include lecture and group discussion.


About the presenter: Dr. Kobayashi is a licensed psychologist in the state of California. She takes integrative approach to therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic approach. Her areas of interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, cross-cultural issues, relationship issues, mindfulness, psychological testing, and supervision/training. Dr. Kobayashi sees both youth and adults for assessments, testing, and therapy in English and Japanese in both the TELL Tokyo and Yokohama offices.
