Aichi Medical Interpretations System (AiMIS) is a service for foreign residents which provides dispatching of interpreters and organizes telephone interpretations and text translations.
Dispatching of medical interpreters with a certain standard of knowledge and interpretation skills who were trained with the help of prefectural universities are dispatched at the request of medical facilities. Telephonic translation services are also available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Translation of medical referrals and other documents sent to other medical institutions is also offered.
