TELL’s #16DaysOfActivism Interviewees

The 16 days from November 25th – December 10th mark #16DaysOfActivism Against Gender Based Violence (GBV). This year, at TELL, we have chosen to mark these 16 days by talking to some influential women active in the field of violence against women and girls in Japan. Every day until December 10th, we will be sharing responses from our interviews with Prof Machiko Osawa, Nia Lyte (Guardian Girls International), Kazuko Ito (Human RIghts Now), Yuu Tadokoro (Spring), and SARC Tokyo (Sexual Assault Relief Centre Tokyo). They will be talking about the current situation of gender based violence in Japan and their priorities for change.

Come back tomorrow as we bring you the first answers from our interviewees!
