In spite of the historical attractions of the town, the birthplace of Charles Darwin, she chose to study Law with French Law at the University of Leicester, which included a year studying in Lyon, France. In addition to studying hard, Jane used this time as an opportunity to explore France and nearby countries, and her passion for travel was born.
After graduating, Jane followed her interests in a different direction and studied for a higher degree in Criminology. This has led to a desire to work in the field of offender rehabilitation at some point in the future.
Jane began volunteering with TELL in 2010 and officially joined the team in the summer of 2015 as the Lifeline Training Coordinator. Now her days are spent finding volunteers and preparing them to take calls on the Lifeline as Phone Counselors.
