Weekend Getaway for Ingathering Vol.2

Turmeric, commonly known in the Okinawan direction as “ucchin” is largely produced in Okinawa. Come join us to experience the harvest of turmeric out in the countryside of Nago (the northern part of Okinawa near Henoko). This time, we are focusing on lightly separating the turmeric into fingers. This can be done by anybody including small children.
