Day 2 of Covid-19 Mental Health Disparities Conference: Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT)

Day 2 of Covid-19 Mental Health Disparities Conference: Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT)

The Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples 1-day bilingual (English/Japanese) workshop will be provided for licensed clinicians* and is based on the most scientific and empirically validated approach for couples developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. In this workshop, Billy Cleary and Miho Takai will guide clinicians eager to learn the core concepts of the EFT model and help them apply the skills learned in their couple’s sessions.

This virtual workshop will aim to articulate EFT through a culturally diverse and applicable lens. As EFT focuses on Attachment-based empirical research, and has been tested across multiple cultures, it has proven to be successful for thousands of couples all over the world. We are excited to bring this Intro to EFT to you in Japan!

*This Day 2 workshop is for licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, and students in an applicable counseling program.

For licensed clinicians, 6 CEU credits will be provided.

Please stay tuned for more information regarding times and cost for the workshop.

Date: April 11th, 2021
Workshop Presenters: Billy Cleary, MA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, TELL Clinical Director. Miho Takai, MA Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor (US), Co-Founder of Sky Counseling & Consultation Tokyo.
