Coping Skills for Anxiety and Panic Attacks

“Learn coping skills for anxiety and panic attacks, based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  Presented by Tell’s Jono Lee, LISCW, LMHC and co-hosted by Kei Lee, LMSW. ACT is a therapeutic modality proven to be highly effective in coping with anxiety and panic attacks.”

The prospective participants will be pre-screened for risks and anxiety. The group starts on October 16 (Saturday) from 10:00 – 11:30 AM JST on Zoom for 8 sessions until December 4 (Saturday).

Brief Outline of the Sessions:

Session 1 & 2: Understanding ACT and our failed coping mechanisms
Session 3 & 4: Diffusion (How do we cope with thoughts using ACT)
Session 5 & 6: Expansion (How do we cope with feelings using ACT)
Session 7 & 8: Living a rich and meaningful life through committing to our values
