After graduating from Showa Women’s College in Tokyo, she worked for a trading company handling a French fashion brand before deciding to go outside of Japan to explore the world a little more. She spent a year in Melbourne working, studying English, and making lifelong friends. After returning to Tokyo she worked for an American bank for two years, then worked at the Australian Tourist Commission in consumer marketing for seven years. She also returned to school, studying in the evenings after work, and earned a degree in psychology from Aoyama Gakuin University. She hopes to continue her studies and earn her masters. She has a very supportive husband who makes her a lunch box sometimes, has a 15-year-old son who is trying American football this year at school and an 8-year-old daughter who is learning tackling moves from her brother. To unwind from her busy days, she loves chatting with her family and friends and losing herself in the latest American TV dramas.
