Tokyo Tower Climb 2026 is set for April 19, 2026! Grab your tickets at https://www.tellevents.org/!
TELL Japan invites you to take part in the 2026 Tokyo Tower Climb, an inspiring annual event dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and supporting suicide prevention initiatives.
Scheduled for the early morning of Sunday, April 19, 2026, this exciting event calls on participants to ascend approximately 600 steps to reach the Main Deck of Tokyo Tower, standing 150 meters above the ground. While the climb requires some stamina (most people can finish in 20 minutes), people of all ages are welcome to participate – whether you choose to sprint, jog, or walk at your own pace.
Tokyo Tower, an iconic symbol of the city since 1958, rises 333 meters high and serves as both a broadcasting facility and a popular tourist destination. Its distinctive red and white design, inspired by the Eiffel Tower, makes it one of Japan’s most recognizable landmarks.
Over the years, the Tokyo Tower Climb has drawn enthusiastic participation from corporate teams, schools, community groups, and individual climbers. Held in the spring, the event brings together an incredible community of supporters and raises essential funds to support TELL Japan’s mental health services.
The awards for the fastest climbers will be announced that morning, so please stick around until 10:00 am. Enjoy the food, music, and face painting, do some last-minute fundraising using your donor box QR code, and join us in celebrating the winners. Then, savor the feeling of having done something truly meaningful before most people have even woken up—before heading home for a well-earned power nap and the rest of your weekend.
