Raising Awareness about Cyberbullying at Tohoku International School

Raising Awareness about Cyberbullying at Tohoku International School

Students in Grades 5 and 6 at Tohoku International School recently participated in the IB PYP exhibition (PYPx). Students extensively researched a real-life issue and presented their findings to K-12 students, teachers, and parents. Throughout the exhibition, students demonstrated their ability to take responsibility for their learning and their capacity to take action.

Towa Nogaki in Grade 6 chose to research the effects of cyber-bullying. As part of his action, he decided to promote TELL Lifeline services by handing out Lifeline Cards to everyone who visited his display. He had a lot of different opportunities to explain what TELL does and how the services they provide can help our international community in Sendai. Well done, Towa!
