COTT, a collective of rugby and charity enthusiasts who want to make a difference in Japan, will host a one-day country-origin touch-rugby tournament in central Tokyo on May 29, to raise money for Mirai no Mori and TELL.
Twenty teams featuring 12 – 20 players of diverse genders, nationalities, backgrounds, and rugby proficiency levels will compete in the event, in a spirit of fun and community. The prize will be the coveted 2022 COTT Cup.
The tournament will raise awareness of, and money for, children’s charity Mirai no Mori and mental health charity TELL. It follows COTT’s successful country-origin touch-rugby tournament in 2021.
The May 29 event will be open to the general public, and all are welcome.
