The Connoisseurs’ Auction, TELL’s major annual charity fundraiser, is recognized as Tokyo’s premier event for wine connoisseurs, and provides a significant amount of TELL’s funding and allows us to operate the Lifeline, as well as a wide range of educational and outreach programs that support the well-being of individuals in our community.

The Connoisseurs’ Auction attracts some 150 distinguished guests who bid on over 25 lots of premium wine, luxurious accommodation, and exceptional goods and services from a wide range of donors, in both a live auction and a silent auction. The event will also feature extensive tastings of fine wines from some of Tokyo’s top wine distributors. We’re also planning similar, but smaller-scale events in the autumn in Kobe (at the Kobe Club on Friday, October 14) and Kyoto (date and venue TBD) in support of TELL’s increased awareness-building efforts that began with our establishment of a phone room in Kobe in March 2015.
