As of March 30th, 2020 our Tokyo branch has moved to solely providing Teletherapy services out of an abundance of caution with the intent of limiting face-to-face interactions and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Telehealth enables our clinicians to continue to provide current and new clients distance-based therapy utilizing HIPAA compliant portals. We take pride in providing and protecting your privacy. The portal allows our clinicians to connect with our clients utilizing online/video-based sessions while maintaining confidentiality. Leveraging this technology enables our clients to continue receiving services from the comfort of their homes.
This change can feel sudden and daunting, but with a little preparation, we can ensure your online sessions will go smoothly.
- Gadget check: Make sure your gadget is connected to the internet, compatible with the service, and charged. If you need extra time to acclimate, ask your clinician for extra support and time with getting set up.
- Carve out time: Find a comfortable place and limit outside distractions. You are encouraged to come as you are, even in your favorite pajamas.
- Pro tips: Earbuds/ headphones improves privacy and sound quality.
