Emi Jantzen

Born in Tokyo but raised in the US, Emi has lived in New York, New Jersey, and California. She moved back to Tokyo in 2016.

She had previously worked in mental health in California and is passionate about teaching literacy and promoting community development.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University, with concentrations in Social and Personality Development; and Life Course, Life Context, and Social Policy.

Emi loves having adventures in the fresh air–hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, but is equally happy playing board games and listening to podcasts with her husband and two kids.
