Distance Counseling

TELL’s team of clinicians have received professional training to provide video-based counseling to individuals, families, and couples.

To that end, at TELL Counseling, we are determined to provide secure, confidential, and professional services to the International Community without compromising the quality of our service.

As we all strive to learn to cope with Covid-19, our team of fully licensed therapists are here to ensure our clients feel at ease and can access professional psychotherapy from anywhere in Japan.

For those who cannot come to the TELL Counseling offices because of distance or physical disability or who cannot find face-to-face services in their area, TELL Counseling offers distance counseling, which can be done by secure video services. In the current global pandemic with COVID-19, our distance counseling services are expanded to meet the needs of those who benefit from seeing a therapist.

This service is offered for clients who are affected by problems such as:

  • depression and other mood disorders
  • anxiety
  • stress
  • cultural adjustment issues
  • personal growth (making difficult decisions)
  • family-related problems
  • workplace related problems
  • problems in relationships

However, distance counseling is not recommended in some circumstances as certain interventions may have limitations.

To determine whether or not distance counseling would be the best method of therapy for you, please email us at intakesubmission@telljp.com or call us at 03-4550-1146 for more information.

All clinicians working at TELL Counseling are governed by the ethical and professional guidelines regarding confidentiality applicable to their professional membership (e.g. American Psychological Association, National Association of Social Workers).
