TELL Grief and Loss Workshop in March

Published on February 1, 2017

Starting on March 3, 2017, TELL will offer a ten-week grief and loss support group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Grief affects us emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially and bleeds into how we function in our jobs, relationships, and all aspects of our lives. There is no standard timeline for grieving as each person’s process is unique, but some very normal reactions include anxiety, numbness, sadness, anger, mood swings, confusion, and/or isolation. The aim of this group is to create a healing community in which members can both receive and give support and share the wisdom of their experiences. The group will be facilitated by TELL psychotherapist Yoon Ki Chai (MA, MFT), who worked extensively with grief and loss at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. First session: Friday, March 3 from 19:00-20:30 at Wesley Center. Please contact Yoon Ki Chai at for more information.
