For Grant Makers and Charitable Funds

TELL has received support from a variety of organizations across the years, and it is thanks to the generous support of companies, foundations, and charitable funds that allows us to continue and further expand our work to support mental health in the community. Below are some grant giving organizations that currently support us:

2023 Grants

TELL would like to acknowledge and gratefully thank Akai Hane Kyodo Bokinkai for their ongoing support and for helping TELL to roll out QPR training in Japan to our Lifeline Volunteers. QPR is the most widely taught suicide prevention Gatekeeper training in the world. QPR stands for Question, Persuade & Refer. TELL is thrilled to announce it has received funding in 2024 to train all of our Lifeline Support Workers in QPR gatekeeper skills.

TELL would also like to thank Akai Hane Kyodo Bokinkai for the generous grant in aid of youth mental health in 2023-2024 as part of their program to “support people with roots in foreign countries with activities to create connections.” With this grant, we will be able to run a number of workshops and trainings targeting youth and those supporting youth to share mental health resources, provide education, and strengthen connections in the international community.

Zoom Cares is the philanthropic giving arm of Zoom. Through Zoom Cares, Zoom leverages the full strength of its business to foster equity, democratize opportunity, and advance systemic justice for people and the planet.

Zoom Cares’ generous support has made it possible for us to expand our outreach activities to Okinawa as well as offering Summer Lifeline Training for the first time ever.
