Chie Sawa (Ed.S, LMHC)


Ms. Sawa is an English and Japanese bilingual psychotherapist. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and a National Certified Counselor.

Ms. Sawa earned her master’s degree in Counseling from Indiana University Bloomington. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family and group settings. She has worked with a diverse population with various needs which include cross-cultural issues, family functioning, trauma, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, and school or work-related problems.

Based on her clinical determination, Ms. Sawa utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy and behavior management techniques. Ms. Sawa is trained in Maudsley Family-based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treating eating disorders, she is also a part of TELL’s Eating Disorder Treatment Program.
