Cole Garrett

Corporate Services Manager

Cole is responsible for TELL’s corporate services

Cole joined TELL in 2022 and is responsible for TELL’s corporate services, including the TELL Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and workplace mental health education and training.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Cole has been living and working in Japan since 2012. Cole has over 10 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, and public policy, with a focus on social responsibility, issues management, and crisis communication.

Cole’s interests include Psychological Safety, Mediation and Conflict Management, Anger Management, Workplace Harassment and Bullying, Addiction, LGBTQIA+ issues, Sexual Health, Karoshi, and Suicide Prevention.

Cole holds a Bachelors Degree with Honors in Asian Studies from Vanderbilt University and a Certificate in Mediation and Conflict Management from Harvard Law School. He is fluent in Japanese and conversant in Mandarin Chinese.

Cole is a dog person. On the weekends, you can find him hiking around the mountains in the Shonan area. But please don’t try to find him, he’s working on boundaries.
