I believe that every person has the potential to reach their goals and become their true selves.
I graduated with a Master Degree of Education in 1998, majoring in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland College Park, Okinawa Campus. Upon graduation I became a Registered Mental Counselor Intern in my home state of Florida. After a 3 year clinical internship I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Certified Addictions Professional in 2001 and I have been practicing psychotherapy since. Counseling and Psychotherapy are considered highly effective ways to resolve psychological, emotional and behavioral issues. I love helping people resolve their life's difficulties, learn about their own psychology, and gain self mastery over what is affecting them. In the end, this helps one become more independent, have greater self control, and better quality of life. I also have professional experience helping people who are either dealing with drug addiction or struggling with a loved one who has a drug addiction. It is a great privilege and honor to work in this field and help those in need.
