TELL Finance/HR Assistant (Independent Contractor position)

The Role
Reporting to the TELL’s back office group (Finance, HR, Office, Administration) this position will be responsible for smooth operation of TELL back-office functions, including finance, HR, office and administration matters. Successful candidates will interact with a wider range of TELL staff, independent contractors, and external vendors.
※Candidate should have a valid work permission in Japan and expect to work at the office once a week. We are unable to provide a work visa, and require all applicants to have working permissions and residence established in Japan in order to be considered for the position.
Roles and responsibilities
(Finance related)
– Account Payable インターネットバンキングでの支払い (経費・給与等)
-Donor list management: 寄付者名簿の作成・管理
-Payroll support:社員給与・業務委託者支払報酬の計算補助・年末調整及び給与明細の発送業務等
(HR/Admin)
-Timesheet management: タイムシート管理
-IC database management: 業務委託者データベース管理
-HR documents filing: 人事関係書類のファイリング(契約書等)

チームミーティングなどの社内ミーティングに参加をお願いする可能性があります
Requirements:
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
– Handles both routine and confidential information in an appropriate, respectful manner.
– Excellent internal customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Ability to work well as a member of a team
– Proficiency in Excel/ Google sheets
– Native level Japanese
– English language skills (at least write and read email communication)
– Basic finance knowledge such as bookkeeping test 3rd grade (簿記3級程度)
– Experience in data management is a plus
Locations and Commitments:
– Work hours per month: around 60 hours per month dedicated to this role (15 hours a week)
– The main work location is the candidate’s residence but needs to come to the office at least once a week
