Executive functioning is the essential ingredient to managing the details of relationships, school, work, and life.  Mental effort, working memory, self monitoring, organization, flexible thinking, time management and emotional control, among others, are skills managed by the brain’s “executive” control center.  Learn how to help support your child or student who struggles in these areas with concrete strategies for improving executive functioning skills. The workshop will be highly interactive, so plan to bring your questions, ideas, and willingness to participate! Presented by Susan Islascox, MA, Learning Support Teacher and Jill Joroff, EdM, School Psychologist.
