Nicolas Tajan is a French psychologist practicing in Kyoto, and researcher affiliated to Ritsumeikan University (Graduate School of Core Ethics and Frontier Sciences) and the National Institute of Mental Health (National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry – Department of Adult Mental Health). He works with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families (assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis). He is a member of the Japanese Society for Transcultural Psychiatry (Committee for the Support to Foreigners), and the Lacan Society of Japan. He is a Spouse of Japanese national and has professional proficiency in English, Japanese and Spanish.
