What parents and educators should know about bullying

In this Exceptional Parenting Program (EPP) workshop, participants will learn issues of bullying schools and young people are currently facing. The presenter will discuss some of the myths and statistics regarding bullying in Japan and worldwide. This workshop’s goal is to discuss what schools, parents, and the community can do to prevent bullying, and to provide helpful information and resources to create a safe and supportive environment for young people.

About the presenter: Ms. Skorji has over 20 years of experience with Lifelines both in Japan and Australia. She is an experienced presenter who has developed workshops and programs on Suicide Prevention, Youth Issues in Japan, Cultural Adjustment, Work Life Balance, Psychological First Aid, and Disaster Prevention training.
